Letter from Founder/CEO- Omekuis Germany

Hey Honey!

Let me just start by saying, "I see you"! We as women make sure that everybody and everything connected to us gets taken care of daily. Listen to me closely….. it's okay for you to take care of you. YOU DESERVE IT!

As women/mothers in today's society, we wear many different hats. We are trying to build empires, raise our babies, keep our households running smoothly, and succeed at all the other things we take on and do. At times, life can get overwhelming, especially if we are constantly putting ourselves on the back burner.

For the last ten years of my life of being married, raising my babies, being that friend, and amongst everything else life constantly throws at me, I've found myself overwhelmed, stressed, and suffering with depression and anxiety at times. I constantly find myself trying to keep up with what society "says" I should be doing. In 2019, I found myself not even recognizing who I was, screaming what about me, and confusingly trying to find the help I was needing.

Out of that pain, Purse PowHER was birthed! I needed to find myself. I needed to figure out how to fill my own purse. Most importantly, I needed to know how to do it. I absolutely loooovvveeee purses! We typically carry a purse or some type of bag daily right?  Before we leave the house, we love to throw all the things we may need for the day inside our purse. If we have kids, we put things inside of our purses for them too. Don't let us be in the restaurant bathroom and one of our sisters need something, nine times out of ten we got what she needs in our purse.

Now we have all of this stuff in our purses but when it's time to look inside for what we need for ourselves, we can't find it. I realized that I needed to clean out my purse (ME). I needed to tap into my Purse PowHER and allow myself to be the best version of ME. I took the steps to build myself up in my faith, invest in therapy, take my very own money journey, and learn to love my body for all the great things it has and can do for me. I Tapped into my Purse PowHER and by empowering the whole woman, I was able to show up in the world as the best version of ME. 

If you’re still here reading lol, take a moment to think about which PowHER, if not all four, that you need to fill your purse. Just like me, what you need may change at different seasons in your life but at least you will know it's in your purse when you need it. Know I will be here to keep screaming for you to choose YOU, to let you know that I see you, and that YOU DESERVE IT!
